6:30: Marco is getting up for the first time. 07:00: we are getting up. After discussing our possibilities we decide to go a bit further north into Oregon through Del Norte National Forest, to Klamath Falls and on Hwy 140 east.

After a few miles we stop at a small crystal clear river running through the forest. The water is full of little snails but we don’t see any fish.
Shortly before noon we spot a ‘subway’ where we buy lunch. Marco finds us a nice and quiet place in the woods ideal for a break.
Lake Klamath is a green, unclear soup and doesn’t invite to stay. At Klamath Falls we quickly stop to take some pictures of FA18s participating in a military air show.

Our trip goes on for another 80 miles or so through forests and grassland – just beautiful.
In Lakeview, a small town with about 3500 population we stay at the Interstate 8 Motel and have dinner at a restaurant prompting it’s fine dining.
