Yellowstone – lasting impressions

We sleep until 8:00, quickly get ready and start off in the park again. In the morning we see a lot of deer and stop frequently to take pictures. We visit Norris Geyser Basin. It is absolutely fascinating and beautiful how mother earth is presenting herself here you can feel the power from within our globe literally it’s very close and of an indescribable beauty. On our way to Canyon as well as further south towards Lake Yellowstone we see buffalos everywhere. They are lying next to the parking lots and crossing the street however they please. That much to: it is dangerous to approach wild buffalo. What if they approach you?

The lake is huge and clear blue. We also saw the smoke of the fires at the east entrance. Apparently bears often travel along the shores of the lake, but we didn’t see any. We drive all the way down to West Thumb (Geysers along the lake). There we turn around and drive all the way to Gardiner to find at the Mountain View Hotel and have a quick but good Italian dinner. We only arrived at the Hotel at 8:00p.m. – It was a long but beautiful day full of lasting impressions!
