Spotted him!

Spotted him!

A determined photographer doesn’t give up easily…..

In the news last night they reported that the gray whale would still be in the San Diego Bay!
Therefore, we packed our biggest Zoom, the camera and the binoculars again this morning and headed to Harbor Island. After a short wait we indeed saw his spray and his back between Harbor Island and down town! What a scenery, in the back the high raise buildings and in the bay the whale! We saw him several more times, while he was moving through the bay between big Marine ships and nice yachts and little boats, but he never showed us more than a small spray and his back. Still, it was fascinating!
