Today I go with Marco to the Gliderport. It is very windy and we watch some seasoned hang-gliders and para-gliders showing off. It is fascinating, to see how they “read” the wind and take advantage of it. One of them even has his winged companion with him: a bird of pray is sitting on his arm when they take off and then flies next to them through the air, now and then he goes back and sits on the arm of his owner and then he flies free again. After returning back to the ground the bird sits on the backpack and waits for his people to take him home after sunset.
