Sunday walk around Lake Poway

I usually like to sleep in a bit on the weekend but today Marco wakes me up at 7:30 and suggests to go for an early morning walk around Lake Poway.

Within 20 minutes I find myself sitting in the car with the camera in my lap on the way to Poway. It is only around 43F (6C). By the time we arrive at the lake it’s already a bit warmer. There are a lot of crazy Californians jogging, walking or fishing for an early morning on a holy Sunday.

We enjoy our walk through sunny and shady (cold) stretches around the lake. We are home again before 11am and feel we have accomplished something and are ready to relax for the rest of the day.
