Picking up Andrej and Andreas

Picking up Andrej and Andreas

To meet Andrej and Andreas we left Las Cruces yesterday morning. Against all odds we drive the whole 820 miles in one day and stay a few miles south of Salt Lake City in a La Quinta motel.
On Friday morning we get the car serviced and work a few hours, before we leave for the airport.

Andrej and Andreas are scheduled to arrive at 1:45pm until the show up after a 20 minute delay, customs and immigration it is almost 3pm, though.

The weather forecast for the coming days is not very promising, but at least they don’t predict only rain and snow but also some sunshine once in a while. We still decide to move forward with our plan to head north and hope for the best!

We reshuffle the luggage in our car to accommodate our guests and soon are on HWY15 north towards West Yellowstone. In Idaho Falls we take a break – a short walk along Snake River and then have dinner at the Outback Steak House – and then another 1.5 hours before we check in at the Moose Creek Inn in West Yellowstone at 9:30pm. We are all pretty tired and exhausted and soon after turn off the lights.
