On a gray, wet and and cold Monday, January 12, 2009, we head off to the airport early in the morning. The first flight takes us to London Heathrow. From there we fly San Francisco, where we complete our paperwork with the Immigration. From San Francisco it’s only a short flight with a United Shuttle until we arrive in San Diego - our temporary home in the US! The first step into a new life!
