Otay Mountain Wilderness Area

At about 1000 meter altitude along the Mexican border….

The air is dry and clear and the light is perfect to take pictures today. So, we drive South, pass Otay Lake and head up into the Otay Mountains as we did several weeks ago. It indeed seems to be one of the clearest days in months, we can see all the way to downtown San Diego, Coronado and Tijuana.
The Border Patrol is actively watching the border from up there.
On the last picture you can see the wall between the US and Mexico and it indicates just how big Tijuna really is!
