Overview

Share GPS data with up to 5 Bluetooth equipped devices with the Bad Elf GPS Pro+. This stand-alone Global Positioning System device stores and streams data to most Apple products so you can share navigation data even if there is no cell service. This product is ideal for pilots, sailors, power boaters, and even family road trips. Whether you are on deck, in the cockpit, or in the backseat you can display navigation data on your iPad, iPhone, or iPod in real time.

Even if you don’t have the device paired to an iPad you can still record your adventures. The GPS Pro+ will store up to 200 hours of data that you can later display on your computer and relive your route. Battery life is up to 32 hours in data logging mode so you can go a long time between charges. Changing settings is easily accomplished using the backlit LCD screen.

GPS satellite acquisition times are under 45 seconds, even quicker if there has been a recent position fix. GLONASS satellite data is also used for greater accuracy. The receiver also can interpret Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) signals so you can receive information from terrestrial antennas even when your view of the sky is obstructed and benefit from greater signal accuracy overall. A barometric altimeter provides altitude for pilots and helps boaters predict changes in weather. The device is accurate up to 60,000′ above sea level and speeds up to 999 miles per hour so it can easily handle aviation scenarios.
