We have been waiting for this: it’s the 2nd Tuesday in the month, the free day at the Desert Botanical Garden. We make sure to be there early because it will be packed later in the day.

As expected, it is by far the best visit ever. So many cacti, trees and flowers are blooming now. All the different shapes, colors and smells are simply amazing. We also see birds nesting (in cacti) and a little rodent who is busy collecting plants for his burrow.
