A beautiful Saturday lies ahead of us, it’s sunny and warm. Already at 8am we sit on the balcony with a sleeveless T-Shirt and during the day the temperature even rises to 78 Fahrenheit (25 Celsius).

We take this opportunity to stroll through Balboa Park where we find some flowers, cactuses and trees already blooming – spring feelings are coming up! The roses in the rose garden though are still in winter mode, they are not ready to bloom anytime soon. But we are surprised about the abundance of orchids in the botanical garden house, they are plentiful and blooming even though the temperatures at night might still go very low.

People are jogging, walking there dogs, playing with their children or just sitting on a bench reading a book or talking to someone on the phone – Everybody seems to be friendly and in a good mood.
