It was a rainy Saturday yesterday – we got as much rain in one day as San Diego normally gets during the whole month of November. However, the rain is much appreciated and it cleared the air. Today, we get up on a gorgeous Sunday morning – it’s Veteran’s day today so we leave early to Cabrillo National Monument to avoid the expected crowds later in the day.

As you can see, the view is indeed very clear all the way across the bay.
