The marine layer is very persistent this morning even by 11am it doesn’t clear up – it’s very unusual that we still have “June gloom” at this time of the year. To escape the fog/marine layer we head inland for a short walk at Lake Miramar – despite a cold that still is bothering us.
We have been longing for a walk at the Ocean but with all the marine layer still lingering at the beach we just don’t feel like going there. Also, since it’s Labor Day Weekend there probably are lots of people (all those that still go despite the gray weather), so we postpone our plans.
Lake Miramar is about 30 Miles inland and therefore it is always a good place to go to find some sunshine.
