Odometer: forgot to check it

Time: 06:00 am

It’s still raining and it doesn’t look like it would stop soon. At times it is pouring down heavily (as we find out from the evening news we got over 2 inches of rain in only a few hours). The task of the day is to find a room for Saturday night!

We are lucky to find a room at the Travelodge and make a reservation. While driving around town we see a lot of flooded areas and roads. Pick-ups with RV’s got stuck in mud and diggers are working to clear the road again. 

It’s an easy day, we sleep a lot, catch up on our emails and sit on the porch with some reading material once the rain has stopped.
