Wahweap Hoodos – White Ghost Hoodoos

SONY ILCE-7RM4, f/16, 1/250 sec, ISO 125

We are happy to see that the roads are dry and allow us to show Bill (who joined us on this trip) the area.

Since we had to pick up the permit for Coyote Buttes South at the BLM (Bureau of Land Management) office in Page at 9 am, we are a bit later than usual. By the time we get to the Hoodoos, it is almost noon.

We take our time to explore and shoot and this time walk downstream past the first and most famous group of hoodoos to discover that there are two more groups of hoodoos just a bit further south

Before heading back to the car we have a quick bite to eat.

We arrive back at HWY 89 around 3 pm – perfect timing to go see the Toadstool Hoodoos before sunset.
