Reflecting on what we will remember of 2021:

We got to experience the waterfall at back of our yard for the first time in more than a year, thanks to some nice monsoon rains in August. It was great to see nature flourishing as a result – amazing what a difference a little rain can make.

In Juli Marco played the online lottery for a permit to The Wave and he was super lucky to get a permit for November 19th. This was our first trip this year after spending the first 10 months in Mesa, AZ. We had a great time and realized how much we missed being on the road. As soon as we where home we booked the next trip: Coyote Buttes South. 

Even though COVID-19 has impacted all of us one way or another and traveling is still difficult and risky we are glad that non of our loved ones got seriously ill and we keep our fingers crossed that it will stay that way.
