To look at things is very different from seeing it – Oscar Wilde

Holiday Greetings

Year end is approaching fast and we are happy to report that we got through the year without major incidents and Covid-19. We made some great memories in Page, AZ by visiting South Coyote Buttes, Wire Pass Canyon and Buckskin Gulch as well as some of our favorite hoodoos again.

We just like the remoteness, colors, the rock formations and canyons around Page. Every time we visit we discover new aspects and new areas.

In August the White Mountains and Flagstaff got a lot of rain during the monsoon season, which yielded enough water in the Little Colorado to get the Chocolate Falls going and making it worth a day trip.

That same rain also turned the grassland around Heber-Overgaard, AZ into blooming meadows – it was amazingly beautiful.

Marco was lucky with the lottery for The Wave again (the 3rd time in about 18 months), which is quite unheard of. We have permits for March, 2023. Stay tuned for a special blog post with pictures next year.

We would like to thank you for your interest in our trips and adventures and wish you a peaceful Holiday Season and a smooth start into a healthy, happy and successfull 2023!

    Alles Liebe
