Time is flying and eventually we spent almost the whole summer in Las Cruces, NM. Long enough to get to know the life at the Hotel and Las Cruces. It is hot and dry – desert! There is not much you can do here on the weekends besides getting busy at the hotel.

We become friends with Jack, the polish guy, and Ann Marie, the long term resident and we get a good picture of what the life of David and Elina as Hotel owners is like.

We start missing the ocean, the cooler temperatures and the possibilities for leisure activities San Diego offers though.

Mid August we finally say good bye to our dear friends and return to our quiet life in beautiful San Diego. It was good to be away from the marine layer – nevertheless, we appreciate San Diego much more again now!
