A year full of events, some of which we have covered in our post already, others are following these days, is coming to and end.

We did two nice trips with Andrej, one with Astrid in spring and the other one with Andreas in fall, we enjoyed both of them a lot and have some lasting memories.

Marco has had problems with his lower back which eventually got him on the operation table of Dr. Smith in El Paso, TX on Friday, December 13th.

Our home in San Diego got unexpecedly sold.

We have a new family member, Gizmo.

And, well, one thing leads to another and so we are sadly spending this years Christmas not in Switzerland with our families but here in Las Cruces with our friends.
